For students outside Baton Rouge — or anyone who prefers to learn from home — the full Piano Player's Workshop experience is available online, with the same custom arrangements, practice videos, and project-based approach.
Multi-cam setup
You see me and my hands, the keys, a digital keyboard with keys that light up, even digital light up pedals, all at the same time and in any configuration you like best.
Quality audio
Sound quality is of the utmost importance during online lessons. You hear a direct signal from my keyboard and my voice through good-quality microphone, and I will guide you through optimizing everything on your end as well.
Recorded videos
Play-along and explainer videos for any songs or topics you'd like, so you can reference after lessons when practicing on your own.
Performance goals
Online students are invited to submit video performances or perform in person at the four annual themed concerts if possible, so performance goals are set just as they are with in-person lessons.
What you'll need
A digital piano or acoustic piano, a laptop or tablet with a webcam, and a fast internet connection. If you're not sure about your setup, message me first — I'll help you get it right before your free trial lesson.
